Kuala Lumpur, 22 Feb - UPM won 2 Gold, 4 Silver, 3 Bronze medals and 1 special award from the Association of British Inventors and Innovators in conjunction with The International Expo on Inventions and Innovations - Malaysia Technology Expo 2020 at Putra World Trade Center (PWTC ) on 20 to 22 February 2020.

UPM has submitted 11 entries for two categories, namely Invention and Innovation Awards and Public Service Innovation Awards at the MTE 2020 exhibition this time which was also attended by universities, research agencies, higher education institutions, government agencies, companies and schools at home and abroad. The inauguration ceremony of MTE 2020 was officiated by Datuk Seri Mohd Redzuan bin Md Yusof, Minister of Entrepreneurship and Development Malaysia.

Congratulations to Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nazlina (Faculty of Design and Architecture) for being awarded the Gold medal and the special award of the Association of British Inventors and Innovation for technology, which is clothing designed specifically for people with physical disabilities and for users who may have difficulty dressing. It is easy to use and has special compartments for cold packs and urine packs.

Congratulations are also extended to all UPM researchers who have been awarded Silver and Bronze medals at MTE 2020;
