Synopsis:
University startups thrive by identifying, evaluating, and developing ideas that can become commercially viable innovations. Not every concept holds market potential, so founders must assess opportunities systematically through product, market, organizational, and financial feasibility. Tools such as the business model canvas, SWOT analysis, and break-even analysis help transform creative concepts into validated business models. Success depends on aligning the venture with the founders’ skills, goals, and available resources, while testing assumptions through customer feedback and iterative learning. Startups may pursue different pathways—launching new ventures, acquiring existing businesses or franchises, or partnering with established organizations to scale innovation. By balancing creativity with disciplined analysis, entrepreneurs can discover meaningful opportunities, test them effectively, and build sustainable ventures that bridge academic innovation with real-world impact.

Thank you very much.
