22 March, SERDANG - The Edu-Park Section, PSP participated in the launching ceremony of the 50-year-old P Ramlee In Memories Exhibition organised by the Malay Heritage Museum in collaboration with Putra Media & Creative Industry, Faculty of Modern Languages and Communication, Universiti Putra Malaysia. 

According to Wan Nuryani Wan Mohamed Rosly, the Executive Officer, such exhibitions are important to ensure that the artwork and works of the great artist Tan Sri P. Ramlee remain as the country's cultural treasures in line with the recognition given by the former Minister of Tourism, Arts and Culture, YBhg. Datuk Mohamaddin Ketapi last year announced over 149 works by the late Tan Sri P. Ramlee to be a National Heritage.

The visitors are mostly UPM campus residents, neighbourhood community and fans of the late Artist Agung Tan Sri P. Ramlee. 

On this occasion, the Edu-Park booth was in charge of promoting the eleven visitor attractions including the Malay Heritage Museum, Deer Farm, Integrated Farm 10, and many more. 

The launching ceremony of the 50-Year P Ramlee In Memories exhibition marks its first exhibition to be held in UPM. Deputy Director General of National Archives, from the Research and Development Sector, Tuan Mokhtaruddin Lamsin was present to facilitate and officiate the exhibition. 

At this exhibition, three main focuses were highlighted to the public including musical artwork, the film script of the great artist Tan Sri P. Ramlee, and the exhibition of Saloma's attires.

Visitors also did not miss the opportunity to attend a casual dialogue session entitled, “P. Ramlee dari Kaca Mata Anak Muda” featuring two guests, Danial Aziz and Hidir Ali Razali. This dialogue session featured Dr. Hani Salwah as the forum moderator. 

It is hoped that such efforts will continue to be enhanced and encourage the younger generation to expand their artwork at a higher level.
