PSP, Office of the Deputy Vice Chancellor (Research & Innovation) Passed the Internal Assessment of EKSA

 

PSP, Office of the Deputy Vice-Chancellor of Research & Innovation passed the Internal Assessment of the Public Sector Conducive Ecosystem (EKSA) 

SERDANG, 13 September - Putra Science Park, Office of the Deputy Vice-Chancellor of Research & Innovation has successfully conducted an Internal Assessment of the Public Sector Conducive Ecosystem (EKSA) on 13 September 2022 involving every entity of UPM office of Deputy Vice Chancellor (Research & Innovation).

The annual Assessment Programme is the first assessment since EKSA was introduced in August after the university resumed its physical operations due to the closure of the Covid-19 Movement Control Order (MCO). As a result of the pandemic, the implementation of this system had to be postponed several times.

 

The Internal Assessment of the Public Sector Conducive Ecosystem (EKSA) was conducted by the appointed Auditors, Mr Zamre Bin Yaacob and Ms Junizawati Binti Mohd Zin to conduct a comprehensive assessment of the EKSA criteria at the Putra Science Park Building and the Office of the Deputy Vice-Chancellor of Research & Innovation. 

The implementation of EKSA is used to assess the capacity of Putra Science Park to fulfill the purpose of meeting current needs, increasing inter-agency competition, distinctive identity, remaining relevant and introducing the new image. 

According to Norhidayah Mad Halid, Head of EKSA, Putra Science Park said, among the benefits of practising the Internal Assessment of the Public Sector Conducive Ecosystem (EKSA) is to highlight the corporate image as well as to ensure that a conducive and clean working environment can be achieved, practising Go Green Lifestyle to avoid waste and encourage the spirit of innovation among officers. 

The Closing ceremony of the Internal Assessment Audit of the Public Sector Conducive Ecosystem (EKSA) was attended by the staff of PSP as one of the entities under the office of the Deputy Vice-Chancellor of Research and Innovation of Universiti Putra Malaysia. Overall, Putra Science Park recorded impressive assessment scores and it is hoped that this spirit will further improve from time to time.
