The centralized e-wallet system which often recorded an increasing number of data breaches, losses, or attacks. Therefore the blockchain technology is sufficient to increase the integrity of transmission and the authentication of the user.

Zwallet is designed based on Blockchain technology to improve security and provide better user access due to its features of Decentralisation and Transparency. It eliminates third-party transaction fees and allows the public to have access to the entire blockchain and the contents of its ledger. The transaction is encrypted on the blockchain through cryptographic hash functions. With a simplified step of ZWallet process, users can now make an online payment without worries free.

ZWallet promotes a sophisticated payment system, as an alternative to eliminate the need to carry a physical wallet by storing all consumer information securely and compactly. 

Such payment method provides users with lots of benefits such as minimizing the risk of being robbed while carrying cash, the consumer can avoid the hustle of carrying cash, especially in a big amount, and most importantly people no longer need to queue up for a long hour to make payment.  

This innovation receives a grant from UPM Research Product Development Grant and is targeted to benefit students, society, and organizations that aim to drive digitalization and ensure good governance, efficient and effective payment methods as well as curbing leakages and fraud.

ZWallet facilitates society on a flexible, secure, and instant cashless payment system using blockchain technology in line with the aspiration of the government in moving towards the transition of physical cash to digital money. This will ensure a smooth transition towards a cashless society can be achieved are well-guaranteed data of the user is protected, and the transparency of all parties involved in the transaction in which the user is aware to whom they are dealing or sharing the transaction with.
