• has technological readiness level (TRL) 6 and above? (refer https://mcyportal.mosti.gov.my/tips-panduan/technology-readiness-level-trl/ to identify TRL levels)

• conduct market validation on your technology?

• explore technology entrepreneurship?
• establish a startup to commercialize your research results technology?

If you got YES for all the above answers, UPM provides COMMERCIALISATION EXTENSION TRAINING (LSP) to provide opportunities for Academic Staff to venture into entrepreneurship based on UPM Intellectual Property for up to 24 months.

LSP aims to enhance and expand the experience of Academic Staff in the field of entrepreneurship as well as to develop attitude, identity, skills, and knowledge in the real industry world to produce market-driven and competitive innovations.

Training will begin in Semester 1 2024/2025.
