Intellectual Property Awareness & Commercialisation Strategy Training

Innovation and Commercialization is taught by distinguished practicing Innovators. Prior embarking into the concept, ask yourself; what makes a successful of innovation and commercialisation? If you are thinking about expanding your Innovation through commercialization, or you are an early stage of research and development or would like to explore the potential, this program will provide the opportunity to learn from the leading experts in the field.

Putra Dynamic or Training Service Unit is a training unit within Putra Science Park, Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM).The major wining program will explore the tactical decisions made when expanding a Innovation through Commercialization and discuss the ways in which practice is the chosen model for Commercialization of Innovations. Our training at Putra Dynamics share the story of our own major experience on Innovation, tracing It along the winding path into products we use every day.


The Training Service Unit of PSP, once again had successfully organised a training entitled, “Intellectual Property Awareness & Commercialisation Strategy Training” on 31st March 2022 (Thursday) through online streaming via Zoom Meeting. This programme received a welcoming response from 20 participants attended from Universiti Brunei Darussalam with various professional backgrounds concerning the awareness of Intellectual Property and to further strengthen the commercialisation strategy. 


The 8 hours training features an opening remark and beneficial input on the commercialisation strategies from Assoc. Prof. Dr. Wan Nurhayati Wan Ab. Rahman, The Deputy Director of Putra Science Park UPM, followed by the second speaker, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Zahira Mohd Ihsan on the keynote highlighting the awareness of Intellectual Property. The moderator, Mr. Amirin Hairuddin from the PSP Training Service Unit says, the output of the programme is to provide the participants from Universiti Brunei Darussalam with the information and knowledge on the awareness to secure IP toward commercialisation and exposes the challenges and ventures towards successful commercialisation as well as incubation & start-up venture.
