‘Demand –Driven Innovation Project’ by Public-Private Research Network or PPRN, is an initiative spearheaded by the Ministry of Education Malaysia; as one of the strategies to close the technological knowledge gap, increase productivity and strengthen Malaysian economic development through innovation and commercialization programs.

Objectives

• Strengthen public private network connection through research innovation from Higher Education Institutions (HEI) and Public Research Institution (PRI) to Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs);
• Improve productivity of SMEs through the adaptation of state-of-the-art or appropriate technology;
• and Encourage the participation of academics to carry out research based on demand (demand driven).
