Turning Waste Into Value Added Material

Bhd. is the pioneer in  nanocellulose commercialization in Malaysia. Established in 2018, we’re a newly  stablished company with the aim to create a new value material of nanocellulose derived oil palm waste. ZoepNano Sdn. Bhd., the pioneer in Nanocellulose commercialisation in Malaysia is one of the successfully start-up company under PSP UPM InnoHub program.

The nanocellulose has numerous applications and can be added into the material as enhancing additives in textile, automotive parts, cosmetics, paper & board packaging, etc. 


NOVEL NANOMATERIAL -Nanocellulose so called as CNF / NFC

Nanocellulose is a term referring to nanostructured cellulose which has a diameter of less than 100 nm. Nanocellulose has special properties such as lightweight, high strength, high crystallinity, high specific surface area, and biodegradable. These special features make nanocellulose very suitable as an additive in various industries such as plastics, composites, foods, cosmetics, health products, etc. Nanocellulose can be used to improve the properties of the products and replace the existing chemicals by improving the quality of materials.

This oil palm biomass nanocellulose / cellulose nanofibrils (CNFs) has been given "NANOVerified" status, a certification by NanoVerify Sdn Bhd & approved by SIRIM QAS International to indicate the presence of nano-sized elements has been verified.
