13 February 2022, Serdang - Putra Science Park received a benchmark visit from CiC USM - Centre for Innovation and Consultation, USM led by Prof. Ir. Dr. Srimala Sreekantan together with two deputy directors, Dr. Muaz Mohd Zaini Makhtar and Dr. Firdaus, En Khairul Syahmi and Pn Aqilah this morning at the Seminar Room, PSP. 

The CIC USM delegation was welcomed by Prof. Ir. Dr. Kamarul Arifin Ahmad, PSP Director with Assoc. Prof. Dr. Wan Norhayati Wan Ab Rahman, Deputy Director of PSP and Ts. Dr. Saiful Hasley Ramli, Coordinator of InnoHub and several other top officers.

The benchmark visit was aimed at obtaining input and partnerships on university start-up management and intellectual property management. In this sharing session, the two universities also exchanged views and inputs to strengthen the technology and management of startups.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Wan Nurhayati Wan Ab Rahman, Deputy Director, Promotion and Commercialisation Division of Putra Science Park, initiated a casual presentation session based on his extensive experience while coordinating the InnoHub program in the early stages of its establishment.

Ts. Dr. Saiful Hasley Ramli, who is a Senior Lecturer at the Faculty of Design and Architecture UPM and also an InnoHub Programme Coordinator with experience in managing startups, as well as Mr. Adrian Joseph, The first Executive Officer PSP mentor for the InnoHub program has ensured that the program is successfully implemented.

The InnoHub PSP UPM is known to be the pioneer or  a "role model" to various agencies and IPTs in Malaysia ic managing the start-up company. It is hoped that InnoHub's success will bring a  positive impact and help further enhance the industry and technological advancement in Malaysia.

The closing ceremony was celebrated with the souvenirs exchanged by both parties. It is hoped that the sharing of information and management activities will benefit all parties.
