SUBANG JAYA, Aug 1 - Two UPM innovations pass the screening to participate in the Selangor State Innovation Awards 2019 (AINS 2019) final round and were selected to present their respective innovations for jury evaluation at the Dewan, Subang Jaya Municipal Council (MPSJ) on July 23 2019 ago.
Prof Dr Vijayaletchumy of FBMK, bring into the innovation "Set Effective Learning English" and the Son of Heaven CIC Group Putra Science Park-Office TNCPI, bringing innovation "Skytider-Mounting and Hanging Display Device" for AINS 2019.
AINS is a combination of the Selangor State Public Sector Innovation Award (introduced in 2010) and the My Innovation Challenge Program (introduced in 2015) aimed at providing opportunities to all residents of the State of Selangor including individuals / individuals / civil servants, private companies , students and students of the Institute of Higher Learning (IPT) in the pursuit of creative and innovative ideas towards innovation culture in the State of Selangor.
The aim of AINS is to promote and promote products / innovation products from all walks of life; recognizing the best innovation products / products as a form of encouragement to the people of Selangor to develop an interest and potential based on innovation and creativity; and foster, cultivate and foster a creative and innovative culture in the work and environment of the people of Selangor.
A total of 23 innovations are under way through the MPSJ region to join AINS this time around and successful entries will be brought to the final stage and on display at MITEC. This is the first innovation from PSP's KIK group, Skytider, to be featured at the state level after winning several awards at UPM and public universities in 2018.
Three panel judges from the Selangor SUK Office judged all exhibitors involved in various categories namely Public Sector Category, Private Sector Category, Root Root Category, School Category and Institution of Higher Learning Institutions (HEIs).
