KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 2 - Putra Science Park UPM showcase food innovation at the Food and Hotel Malaysia (FHM) 2019 exhibition at the KL Convention Center (KLCC) on September 24 to 27, 2019 organized by United Business Media (M) Sdn Bhd.
The Putra Creamery ice cream premix product and UPM's Akar Putra Chicken are among UPM's innovations to the industry and visitors present. This product of UPM's innovation is a product that has been commercialized by UPM start-up companies under the Innohub program.
Putra Creamery is an easy-to-use ice cream innovation that uses three different methods based on its own blend of soft ice cream, hard ice cream and drinks.
Akar Putra Chicken is a new breed that can grow faster than existing chickens. These products have been sold in conjunction with FHM 2019 and are also being sold by the company to consumers online. In addition, various other UPM commercialised products related to health, cosmetics, livestock and others were also on display at the UPM booth during the exhibition.
FHM is an annual showcase showcasing innovative beverage and food production products and featuring various cooking demonstrations by celebrity chefs such as Datuk Chef Wan. Celebrity Fikry Ibrahim also made the program the official ambassador for Digital Media Partner FHM 2019
Organizing Malaysia's largest food showcase includes nine halls at KLCC that houses companies and agencies from within and outside the country.
According to Hisham Omar, as exhibitor of PSP UPM booth, the exhibition will showcase a wide variety of food and innovation in different services from within and outside the country.
"Several companies and external agencies have expressed interest in acquiring UPM's expertise in food technology that will help the industry solve their problems," he added.
There were also various activities such as conference, talk-show, pitching, business matching and many more.
